Morning/Afternoon – Workshop with Nando Costa + Linn Olofsdotter
Linn Olofsdotter & Nando Costa will discuss with students how, over the last few years, graphic design and illustration works have found new placements in interactive tools, and about the impact this has had upon the profession. Students will create still screen-based designs that will later be posted online for visitors to download and carry on their favorite gadgets.
Located in the Design Labs, Noel Fine Arts Center

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 18 2006
Morning/Afternoon – Workshop with Kate Gibb
In this workshop, students will create illustration-based posters to promote a fictional musical event on the UW-Stevens Point campus. Kate will introduce workshop participants to a variety of historical, contemporary, and alternative approaches for music promotion and posters. At the end of the workshop, the posters will be installed on campus for critique and discussion.

Afternoon – Farmer John’s Portfolio Roundup
Come gather round the design barn and bring your best work to show off and network with other design students. Join us for snacks, tunes, and general revelry on a lovely Saturday afternoon.
